Former WAF Staff Denies Bribery

A former Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) staff charged with Bribery pleaded not guilty in the Suva Magistrates Court last week.

Mr. Mohammed Shafraaz Ali was charged by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) with one (1) count of Bribery for allegedly accepting a return air ticket to Sydney, Australia worth $1,430.60 FJD in March 2017 from Sphynx Solutions Pty Limited.

The matter was adjourned to 19 July 2019 to check on Voir Dire grounds.
