Case Against A Former Director of The Fiji Institute of Technology

Investigations into an allegation that a former Director for the Fiji Institute of Technology (F.I.T) between the 12th and 17th of December, 2005 took sick leave and recuperated at the Raffles Tradewinds Hotel, Lami and directed FIT to pay the hotel bill. He was charged with one count of Abuse of Office.

The public servant was charged and appeared before the Suva Magistrates Court on 24 January 2005.

Kolinio Meo was acquitted by the Suva Magistrates Court on 18th March 2009 of charges laid against him.
