The Department has the primary responsibility of conducting investigations on any alleged offences of corruption and bribery in accordance with the Act and Prevention of Bribery Act No.12 of 2007.

The role of the Legal & Prosecution Department is to provide sound legal advice to the Commission and prosecute cases on behalf of the Commissioner. The Department also assesses complaints received from the public and private sectors through State Counsels in the Legal and Complaints Departments.

Being the first point of contact for the organization, the Department receives all complaints, registers each matter and makes additional enquiries as necessary.

The Corruption Prevention Department fosters the support and education of anti-corruption principles within the public and private sector, schools and the community through various trainings tailor made for every audience. The department also examines the practices and procedures of Government departments and public bodies to enable the effective implementation of anti-corruption policies and best practices.

The Corporate Services Department is the hub of the Commission providing a variety of services including Finance, Human Resources and Training, Complaints, Information Hub, Information Technology, Inventory, Monitoring and Compliance, Media and Graphics, Liaison and Development and General Administration. These services ensure the smooth running of the Commission by providing the necessary resources and means to boost the efficiency of the Commission to the highest calibre.
